It's officially that time of year where all the cool things start happening in Chicago! People start to crawl out from under the rocks they have used to shelter themselves from the frigged winter, donning flower crowns, crop tops, and attending weekend festivals.
Flats Studio's galleries is one of my favorite event series that has started back up for the season. Each month, a new collection of local artists' work is showcased in the Flats Studio space , 1050 West Wilson Ave.
On April 23rd, Flats Studio showcased their third art opening of the season, Work Werq. Featuring multiple mediums of art, including a live performance, the show focused on the preconceived notions of Asian (American) identity.
